WELCOME TO BACKPACKERS SHACK WEBSITE!

Backpackers Shack is a modern style two level hostel situated in the heart of Innisfail. The town population is approximately 20,000. We offer clean and comfortable dormitory style accommodation at budget prices.

Nicholas is our manager who was born and bred in Innisfail. He has qualifications and previous experience in managing hostels. Nicholas communicates with local farmers and employment agencies on a daily basis as a service to assist you in finding work. Navigate to our jobs page for further employment information.

Transport is not required after your arrival in Innisfail because we are conveniently located in the CBD. The shops opposite the hostel are Kmart, Subway and McDonalds. There is a bakery and a pizza parlor next door and supermarkets are within walking distance. Our guests can eat, sleep, work and be entertained in Innisfail.
